Alhaji Toheeb Adejimi Orekoya

Alhaji Orekoya was a former Union Bank of Nigeria Plc manager (36 Marina HQ -Strategic Development Department) before relocating to the UK where he is now a manager with the Department for Foods and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), London Westminster. He has previously worked in different capacities at HMRC and DWP between 2008 and 2019. An experienced, confident and enthusiastic Business Management professional with more than 25 years’ experience across both private and public sectors. Highly qualified to secondary degree level with Chartered Banking status. Experienced in human resources, banking, budget and financial stakeholders’ partnerships in both private and public settings.

He joined Assalatur Rahman Islamic Association in London in 2006 as a member. Before becoming the Chair, he was one-time Internal Auditor, member of different committees and Trustee between 2009 and 2023.

Alhaji Orekoya is happily married with children.
